What it is
Maps and traffic first, then your habits
The product stays grounded in the map and traffic data you already expect. A later layer can narrow suggestions using patterns in your choices, timing, and reroutes.
We are not replacing proven routing engines. Where it makes sense, we refine what gets offered so the default line feels less generic and closer to what you would pick yourself. That work ships in small steps as beta proves it out.
How it stacks
Four pieces, one flow
Solid routing at the base, then room to adapt. You stay in control.
01
Live routing
Turn-by-turn on the same class of map and traffic signals you trust from modern navigation. Fast recalculation when conditions change.
02
Usage signal
Over time, optional personalization can weigh which alternates you take, what you dismiss, and when you leave the suggested line. That signal adjusts future options, not the map of the world.
03
Personalization
Routes and reroute prompts can reflect pace, road character, and repeat contexts you actually use. You keep override and reset in reach.
04
Ahead of the turn
Later, we may surface fewer surprises before they matter: timing hints, gentler handoffs when plans shift. Shipping stays careful and incremental.
Why it matters
One-size routing ignores real drivers
Classic nav often picks a single optimized answer and assumes it fits until you override. That breaks down when your preferences, your crew, or the day of the week change what good looks like.
Re-Route keeps the same safety bar and adds room for defaults that fit you better: fewer fights with the app, not autonomy promises we cannot stand behind.
Privacy and trust
Your driving data is not inventory
- Data in transit uses encryption you expect from a modern service. We limit what we store to what the product needs.
- Controls stay visible as we ship: clear choices about what is remembered, what informs suggestions, and how to reset.
- We do not sell personal driving data. If we ever use aggregated or anonymized insight to improve the system, we will say so in product and policy.
Details live in our Privacy Policy. Ask anything at support@re-route.app.
Where we are headed
Reliability before headlines
This layer grows in small, testable steps. We care more about trust and steady improvement than buzz. Join the beta if you want to help set the bar.
